Daily Schedule

Here’s an example of our weekly timetable.

Project Pathway time is embedded into the school week as a core curriculum component. Students will work on one project per term and one personal project per term, guided by a mentor and supported by workshops, expert input, and real-world experiences.

Internal assessment models ensure student progress, accountability, goal setting and support, with regular communication with parents.

Weekly schedule grid with days Monday to Friday, listing activities such as registration, math skill sessions, production projects, language skill sessions, and special activities, divided into time slots including morning registration, skill sessions, break, lunch, and afternoon sessions.

Daily Core Skills

A Monday schedule with activities including registration, math skill sessions, multiple production projects, breaks, lunch, language skill sessions, a reflection, and a specialist studies session.

30 minute Core Skills sessions provide consistent, scaffolded opportunities for students to build and strengthen academic abilities in maths and literacy to boost confidence and application in project pathways.

Maths Mastery Students work through an individualised pathway using a digital maths platform selected for its adaptive, skills-based structure. They receive instant feedback progress tracking. These platforms provide reports to guide learner conversations, check understanding, and plan personalised support.

Studies show an average of 21% improvement in assessments for all students using this method.

Language Skills- These sessions are shared reading experiences with literacy skills development, Literacy Fluency Games, and online apps to develop core reading skills. We’ll also be working on oracy to empower students with language through debate, speeches and improved communication skills.

Be Time

In today’s fast-paced world, young people need time to pause, breathe, and reconnect - with themselves and others. ‘Be Time’, held at the start and mid-afternoon each day, offers a moment for mentors and peers to tune in and create space before learning begins.

  • A daily rhythm for inner balance, self-connection, and emotional growth.

  • Indoor and outdoor - designed for calm, flow, and focus and connection.

  • Sound, Visual Expression, Movement, Storytelling and Silent Reflection.

  • Emotional intelligence, creativity, communication, and student agency through reflective, expressive, and collaborative practices.

Specialist Study Time

Weekly schedule showing activities for Monday, including registration, math sessions, production project, breaks, lunch, language, reflection, and specialist studies.

Alternative education means we can do what’s right for the individual and step away from the industrialised model of a one size fits all education. With the abundance of alternative qualifications available, academic qualifications are far less relevant than most parent realise.

That said, we also understand that some families may wish to keep options open for higher education or academic pathways We support families in finding external providers for this.

Special studies is an optional after school session to support academic or vocational expansion.

IGCSEs are internationally recognised and transferable qualifications. We will support IGCSEs through relationships with UK Virtual School (UKVS) and Pearson. 3 IGCSEs can be obtained over 2 years / 6 hrs p/week. Extra fees apply.

Want your child to qualify their passions? We’ll support vocational online qualifications that are accepted by universities and employers worldwide.

The Village

A school is nothing if it doesn’t have community and celebration at its heart.

Friday is Village Day we engage with community, explore real-world challenges, and celebrate culture, nature, and time together. These experiential learning opportunities are for students, mentors, families and stakeholders. From guest speakers and workshops, to trips, celebrations and collaboration.

In Bali, the Future Human School intentionally is building an intergenerational community rooted in purpose and place far beyond the classroom walls.  Learning happens through field experiences, service, storytelling, and connection.

Just as we’ve chosen to live beyond our home countries, our students grow by embracing a world beyond the conventional, learning through life itself.
